"We are super pleased to have Lessy return to us after an unsuccessful rehoming. This gorgeous chestnut has been recieving titles and racking up acclaim due to our work with her. She will continue this for a while longer. She loves to throw happy bucks for no reason in the pasture and seems to be happy to return to CCI. Lessy was picked up from a wild herd at SJF and trained to saddle by Lily." We are really lucky to have Lessy, calm and well mannered we trust with her everybody and she loves jumping, she could do it all day long if you asked her to but her true heart lies in dressage. Perfect conformation and a kind if spirited disposition we can't wait to see how Lessy does as a broodmare. One of the most successful and highly shown horses we own at the current time, Aerodynamic being the other, Lessy is hitting the good point in her career, but due to her extensive show record prior to our purchase she most likely won't be showing at all next year. We will keep her in open shows until then and the AHEJC as well until she has gotten her second title.
She is a beautiful mare and really loves to compete, but we'd rather retire her on a good note before she goes disinterested in competing. Mel is excited to see what type of foals she produces for us. Her FC Strikeout colt is talented and definitely has what it takes to be Lessy's shining star, only time will tell though. Now that Lessy has reached our goal for her within the AHEJC it's time she came home to join the ranks of our other retired eventing mares and let a new promising hunter/jumper fill her spot on our string of AHEJC competition horses. We are sad that Lessy is retiring but at the same time thrilled to have had the chance to purchase her from Cold Creek. She bonded well with the people who surrounded her at shows and now she'll be able to be doted on by the staff who work with our broodmares/retirees.
