Comments:
A real angel Honey is living up to her name. The last actual foal Struck By Love carried herself, Honey has a lot to live up to but we feel she can do it easy. A fast learner she's already going over trot poles and can wear a hackamore but we hope she can be in a couple halter shows once the year is over and next year the real work will start and Honey's training will step up a notch. Only a yearling and her future is already bright. Recently Honey won the title of First Ever Prospect Show Discipline Division Champion and was the First Ever Prospect Show Champion. Quite an huge honor for this beautiful gal. Truely a member of an hugely successful showing family of Westerns and English Horses.
Now on in years she's not as well known as she used to be but hopefully I can get that turned around and prove to the showing world she's still got what it takes to prove that Struck By Love's daughters are the best Paint examples. We may plan on breeding her in the near future to carry on the Love bloodline, but after Scribble Me Dead, I highly doubt Honey will ever carry another foal. After her success as a yearling, six years later Honey still holds the quality that made her shine as a yearling. We are really proud of what this mare has done in the past and although her breeding clearly shows of western horses Honey feels most at home in the hunter/jumper rings.
