Silver has immense potential as a stud as it has been proven in his offspring and that is the only reason he is still a stallion, if he wasn't capable of producing quality foals Mel would have gelded him years ago. He is an incredibly stubborn horse and will only pay attention if you are totally in control but control means nothing to him. If he wants to go on a full-out breeze he'll do it regardless of who is riding him. As a eventer and racer he did a pretty nice job and can produced both eventers and racers.}
