_{Bred by Fable Creek Stables on the old SS, we admired FC Strikeout from afar but knew they would probably never sell the Illegal Excursion son. Well they did a cut-down on their stock and we jumped at the chance to purchase the colt. We liked him for a number of reasons, one being the fact that Strike has some of the hottest Hanoverian lines from Silvers' Stable and nearly all of our Hanos trace back to SS and the second being he is still a stallion after all these years of sitting idly by uncared for until FCM brought him back. To have been forgotten about and still be a stallion Strike arrived none the worse for wear and warmed up right away to everyone here.
One of the first foals from the magnificent Fail Scene hanoverian mare Wipeout and by the impressive Illegal Excursion this boy is destined to be a top Hanoverian sire for us in the future once he's done with his show career. He has some of the best movements Mel has ever seen in all her time working with top notch eventers. A true gentleman as well, there was no cost spared when it came to Strike's prior training. His bay coat shines even more brightly when he's out in the show rings, showing off a crucial dressage move or in the jumping ring, responding with smoothness to Mel's cues. He is calm and well-mannered both inside and outside the showing arena and you can't even tell that he's a stallion until you get a closer look at him. He really is the perfect horse who would do anything for his owner.}
