Comments:
Again another product of the 'breed the best to the best and make a great' slogan Whitebrook stands by Andorra came about after MS auctioned off one of the last breedings to Second Chance and we already knew the perfect mare, WB Star Attraction. Chance's speed with the speed-loving, classic SS lineage Star has would make one fabulous foal. We had already been promised a breeding to Cascade, Chance's daughter and we really weren't expecting to see Second Chance up for stud again so we bidded, and on the very last day the bidding shot up. We were afraid we would miss out since the bids were shooting out from everywhere, it took a lot of patience but we finally got the Chance breeding as well as a brood to Egyption Miracle. In the early spring Star foaled a happy little gray filly.
A avid lover of the wind, there is rarely a chance Andorra is seen standing idle. Like her siblings Bonfire, Cascade and Air Express she has loads of energy and doesn't mind using it. She is really determined and will play a bit dirty in races, faking a nip on an rival or bumping against another horse in the heat of a race. She is a real go-getter, if she wants something she is going to get it no matter the consequences, something she shares with most of her pasture pals. She'll make a really good broodmare later on since she's protective of the foals she grew up around. She is very swift and lightning fast, a total powerhouse out there on the track. Next to Braveheart, Andorra is the most promising younger horse we are proud to own. She doesn't mean any harm as she is kind hearted but sometimes she gets going in play and can't stop. Usually when this occurs she gets a firm nip from Mira or Lily, even though both fillies are much younger than her. Now that she's race-ready, it's been determined that Andorra can run her best at anything over a mile, mainly on dirt surfaces.
