Thunder is a little spooky under saddle. He is friendly and sometimes a little coltish, but he gets spooked easily and needs a good rider to coax him over it. The pride and joy here he is by far the most amazing colt we've seen since GS Gallant Prince. He loves to run and is very eager to learn. Everybody fights for the chance to ride Thunder but currently he is only to be ridden by me, as I hope to turn him into the best racehorse he can be. Already he is showing the same talent and desire to win that we hope to transform into a top notch racer. Thunder seems to be living up his high expectations with a third place finish in the July Dawn Treader Cup and a win in the second Breeders' Cup Sprint.
